So I wanted to get some more Red Hat experience as I noted in my previous post. I was due to to take a class through work so I signed up for a local RHCSA Rapid Track course that started today. I’m definitely learning a lot but it’s hard to say at this point if I’m over my head or not. They wanted you to have at least 3 years administering Red Hat boxes full time as a pre-req for the course. I most certainly didn’t have that. In fact, I only started tooling around with Linux about a year ago. At any rate, I’m going to try my hardest to pass the RHCSA exam that’s given on the 5th day. That being said, expect a lot of Red Hat posts over the next couple of days. And be nice to me, I’m a beginner so I know that to a lot of you this is ‘old hat’ (love that saying these days (…wondering if it’s actually applicable to this though…)).
